Football Variant (microfootball)

    Playground and sectoring. The playground for the game and its equipment are shown in the figure. The playground for the game has a circular form of 5m in radius, and should be enclosed with the side.

    The playground covering can be wooden, synthetic, or grassy. In the center of the playground there is a zone - not playing area lined with a circle of 3m in diameter. "Yuka" installation site of 10cm in diameter is marked in the center of the zone.

    Through the center of the playground passes the central line of 6cm in width that divides the playground into two halves. The point for four-meter penalty kicks (eleven-metre penalty kick) is marked at a distance of 1m from the side of the playground with a special mark of 10cm in diameter.

     Lines of the players’ location before the beginning of the game pass perpendicularly to the central line, and are marked at a distance of 1m from the point for a penalty kick. Lines length is 1m, and their width is 6cm.

    "Yuka" is an object of 20cm in height and 6cm in diameter made of light unbreakable material. The ball should be footgymnasium (for a game in a gymnasium), but it is possible to play with a simple rubber one.

Number of Players.

    Either two players opposing each other (1x1), or two teams, consisting of two players (2x2) each, participate in the game. The players’ equipment consists of sports shirts, shorts, gaiters, sports footwear. The sports uniform of the players from the competing teams should differ in color.

    The field judge of the match strictly watches game rules observance, no deliberate stops and other retardation of the time set for the game, punishes the players for fouls and unsporting behaviour. The field judge starts or stops the game with a whistle signal, puts a ball in the game, and plays jump balls. During the game the field judge should be outside the playground at the side enclosing it. The field judge’s clothes consist of a sports shirt, trousers and sports footwear. Game duration is defined by the regulations of the competitions.

    The beginning of the game. Before the beginning of the game the right to the first kick is played (by a lot). By the field judge’s signal a player begins the game from the enclosed place or by means of kicking a ball set at the 4-meter mark.

    At the moment of the beginning of the game a contender should be at a distance within 1m from the player starting the game.

    After hitting the ball in a "yuka" èthe game renews in the same way as in the beginning of the game. Hitting of the ball in a "yuka" just after the first kick is not counted.

    The jump ball is played in the cases when the temporal game termination has been the result not stipulated by the rules. The jump ball is played by means of putting it on the nearest point for the beginning of the game.

    The ball is considered to be out of the game, if it has completely left the playground limits by air or has remained in the not playing zone. In such cases the ball is put in the game from the nearest point for the beginning of the game.

Result of the game.

    "Yuka" is considered knocked down by that team whose player has touched the ball last. A player is considered to be a winner (at a game of 1x1) or a team - (at a game of 2x2) who during the game has hit with the ball in a "yuka" most times. If the game has finished with the equal score, then from the opposite parties are performed 4-meter penalty kicks up to the first miss of one of the contenders (in case if another contender has hit in a "yuka" with a 4-meter penalty kick). 5 seconds are provided for a 4-meter penalty kick.

    The penalty kick is set, if a player has deliberately made one of the fouls listed below:

à) kick of a contender with a foot;
b) under-rolling;
c) push of a contender with the hands;
d) hold-up of a contender with the hands;
e) kick of a contender with a hand or attempt of kicking;
f) touching a ball with a hand;
g) touching a side enclosing the playground with the hands;
h) overstepping the zone.

     In all these cases the player that has fouled, is punished with a penalty kick, which is performed by a contender. Hitting of the ball in a "yuka" just with the penalty kick is not counted and the penalty kick is repeated.

    Punishments (warnings) for the players’ fouls and undisciplined behaviour.

The player receives a warning:

  • for regular or rough foul;
  • for words or gestures with which the player expresses the disagreement with the field judge’s decision;
  • for unsporting behaviour, obscene and other offensive expressions.

    Penalty kick (eleven-metre penalty kick) is performed at the 4-meter mark. At performance of the penalty kick the other players are located at the side behind the line of the players’ location from the opposite side. After the penalty kick announcement the field judge should not give a signal to perform it until the players are located behind the line of the players’ location.

    The player performing the penalty kick should direct a ball with his foot towards the "yuka".
After the penalty kick the "yuka" is considered knocked down not only when the ball has hit in the "yuka" directly from the kick performed by the player, making the penalty kick, but also when the "yuka" has been knocked down with the ball bounced off the side and at the "finishing kicking" by the other players.

    If the time set for the game has expired, the field judge adds the time for the set penalty kick.

Punishment with the penalty kick is set in such cases:

  • if a player deliberately blocks a way to the ball directed to the "yuka",being thus in not playing zone with any part of his body;
  • if a player deliberately crosses not playing zone, taking a game advantage from this;
  • if a player of one of the teams has received two warnings during the game.
